The background:
The company owes its name to the romantic novel written by Alexander Grin. Scarlet Sails is a romantic tale of heart breaking loss, great love and dreams that came true.
Such is the popularity of the story in Russian culture that at the end of each school-year millions of people gather to take part in the Scarlet Sails celebrations which are regarded as the most spectacular part of the White Nights Festival.
It seems appropriate to use this romantic name to promote our square-rigged vessel!
